Hurricane Frances

I chose hurricane Frances. Hurricane Frances started out as a category 4 hitting other places first, but by the time it hit land it was a category 2. Developing from a tropical wave he slowly started gaining speed and turned into a category 4. Hitting other places before the U.S.A. around Stuart, Florida it lost some of it's categories turning into a category 2. After hitting Florida, it traveled to North Carolina. It was almost 6 feet tall and was associated with over a hundred tornadoes. This hurricane caused $8.9 billion in damage. 9 people have died from this hurricane.

Best Blog and the Oceans

I think my best blog was the wordle words blog (#6). This is because I felt the most confident about this blog. It made me familiarize myself with the new words making me feel more confident on the test. At the best I think I deserve a 80 because I don't think I did very well on them. I feel I could do better now that I'm familiar with the content discussed.
My favorite topic this quarter was chapter 16, dealing with the water. I always loved the ocean and I guess this was a way of learning what trying goes on in it. I will never look at it the same way. I will only look at it with more fascination and see what troubles they go through daily, monthly and even yearly.

Chinese Earthquake:Giant Pandas Rescued

I chose the article Chinese Earthquake: Giant Pandas Rescued. Telegraph.co.uk published this article. The author, Richard Alleyne, wrote this to inform what is happening in China. China had an earthquake and they are trying to save some of the pandas. I personally agree with this thesis because pandas are becoming endangered and we have to step up or we loose them.
